We’re growing! EAG welcomes 2 new team members

EAG logoThe Energy Alliance Group of Michigan is pleased to welcome two new members to its team. They include:

  • Peggy Brandenberg, Corporate Administrative Director; and
  • Peter Vissar, Account Manager.

Peggy Brandenburg

As Corporate Administrative Director, Peggy Brandenberg is supporting the company’s executive staff with daily administrative operations.

She is assisting with EAG financial reports, accounts payable and receivable, email and telephone management, company meeting and event planning, company information and records management, marketing functions and personnel matters.

Brandenberg, who lives in Troy, earned her bachelor degree from the Michigan State University College of Education and her master degree (in exercise science) from Oakland University.

She’s worked for the Troy School District and was Special Events Liaison and Administrative Assistant with Sun Communities, Inc., a provider of manufactured home communities and RV resorts. Brandenberg also worked as a clinical exercise physiologist with Bon Secours Cottage Health Services.

She currently is room parent coordinator at Bemis Elementary, has been active with that school’s parent-teacher organization, and has been a troop leader in the Girl Scouts.

Peter Vissar

Peter Vissar, EAG Account Manager, is responsible for securing and managing all aspects of energy efficiency projects, including working with clients on financing the projects, through the Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) program and/or other finance sources, including rebates and incentives.

He also is working with EAG’s sustainable agricultural division with emphasis on efficient, effective grow lighting (TotalGrow).

Vissar is a graduate of Baker College, the University of Montana and is attending the University of Denver to obtain his masters degree in Environmental Policy and Management, Energy and Sustainability.

He’s worked at Countryside Greenhouse in Allendale as a production assistant, Big Brothers & Big Sisters in a marketing position, and has been an Endangered Species Observer representing the National Marine Fisheries Service, a division of the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration.

Vissar has volunteered as a reading tutor for children through the Reading Enables Adult Development (READ) Educational Services organization.
