The Energy Alliance Group of Michigan is pleased to announce the hiring two new team members, Craig Viges as director of business development and Dr. Kerry Kilpatrick, social media manager and account manager.
The company also would like to welcome Daryl Hawkins, a Michigan Economic Development Corporation Shifting Gears marketing intern working with EAG.

He also has worked for three start-up firms — including a patented air purification technology licenses to Carrier Corporation in HVAC, a building integrated solar panel producer, and a recycle polymer adhesive company.
All Viges’ responsibilities with the start-up companies were in sales, product and business development.
At EAG, he is developing new business in several verticals including property management, manufacturing, automotive/transportation and other market segments. Viges is targeting southeast Michigan business and some companies outside of Michigan.
Prior to joining EAG full-time, Viges worked as an intern through MEDC’s Shifting Gears program.
Dr. Kerry Kilpatrick has been involved in the health care industry throughout his career. His involvement included direct care to patients as well as managing a busy practice with multiple doctors.
He also has been highly involved in multiple non-profit organizations. With those groups, he worked in the areas of communications and networking. Kilpatrick engaged the membership through writing, publications and the use of other methods of communication.
As social media manager with EAG, he is capturing stories from the rapidly growing company and sharing them with the people who could benefit the most from hearing them.
These stories highlight the achievements of the company, its alliance partners, and its clients. The client stories detail the energy savings possible through the use of the growing knowledge base.
Prior to joining EAG full-time, Kilpatrick also worked as an intern through MEDC’s Shifting Gears program.
As marketing intern, Daryl Hawkins brings 13 years of operations management experience and is highly skilled with technology. He is conducting secondary market research on agricultural businesses in Michigan as EAG does offer an advanced-technology line of grow lights.
Currently, Hawkins is shifting gears into a marketing career and is working with The Energy Alliance Group to increase his skills in market research.
