Three new people are working with the EAG team as The Energy Alliance Group of North America expands into Ohio and reaps the benefits of a college intern’s talents.
Welcome to Ohio residents Tim Gladieux and Richard (Rick) Bell as they work with EAG’s corporate team organizing The Energy Alliance Group of Ohio. Gladieux , taking the lead with EAG/Ohio, lives in the Toledo area, where he owned and managed V/Gladieux Enterprises, Inc. for 27 years.
That company was involved with numerous clients including airport and inflight, education, college dining, athletic concessions, catering, dinner theater and dining cruise operations, vending, correctional, health care and janitorial, with additional interests in professional sports team management, facility management, real estate development, marina management and yacht sales. Gladieux earned his bachelors of arts degree at University of Miami.
He also has been heavily involved in the community, with service on the governing boards of Lourdes College in Sylvania, Ohio; the Mercy Health Care Northern Region, Toledo; the Saint Francis De Sales High School, Toledo; the Knight Academy Ohio Charter School, the Toledo Opera; Saint Anthony’s Villa Orphanage, Toledo; Neighborhood, and Condominium Associations, Michigan; East Coast Hockey League Board and Collective Bargaining Committee; other related committees and charitable volunteerism.
EAG of Ohio’s other team member, Rick Bell, also started his own company, Sustainable Environmental Energy Engineering (SEE Engineering), which operates out of the Cleveland area.
Until 2014, he served as Environmental Director at a major multinational manufacturer, TRW Automotive Inc., where he was responsible for the development, planning, organizing, directing, and implementation (both strategic and tactical) of environmental and energy programs for the company.
He had global roles and responsibilities that included leading a broad variety of personnel (project managers, plant personnel, suppliers, and outside consultants) in the areas of environmental remediation and energy at current manufacturing plants and legacy facilities worldwide. He led the HS&E Business Excellence program and is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
Bell earned his masters degree in Business Administration at the University of St. Louis and his bachelors of science degree in environmental engineering at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, in Indiana. He is a registered professional engineer in Ohio and a Certified Energy Manager (Association of Energy Engineers).
Welcome also to Kelsey B. Mitchell of Dexter, who has been working as a college intern since spring with The EAG team. Mitchell earned dual associate degrees, in environmental science and in math and science at Washtenaw Community College.
As she completes her internship, she plans to continue her education this fall at Eastern Michigan University. During the summer, Mitchell has been evaluating and organizing EAG’s shared file servers, helping to streamline the company’s information and access systems.
She also has worked in food service, sports organization and retail. She earned her way to the WCC Dean’s list on several occasions.
