Energy Alliance Group of Michigan interviewed prospective employees at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation’s Pure Michigan DREAMJOB event, held in June at Ford Field in Detroit.
EAG was looking to hire an account manager and was able to interview people for that position. “The event was very successful and several potential candidates have been identified,” according to Scott Ringlein, CEO of the Energy Alliance Group of Michigan.
Only 110 companies were invited to participate in the DREAMJOB event. They were looking to fill about 1,200 jobs, and the event was attended by more than 900 job seekers, who all pre-registered for the event. MEDC scheduled the one-on-one interviews at Ford Field.
The Pure Michigan DREAMJOB 2014 event connected job seekers directly to employers in various different fields ranging from manufacturing, engineering, design, and finance.
