    131 and greater– There is a strong likelihood that PACE financing is a perfect fit for this project. This level of scoring indicates the project is in an approved PACE district, there are a significant number of energy-intensive operating hours, and enough upgrades are being considered that allow this project to qualify for PACE financing.

    95 to 130 - PACE could be an option for this level of scoring. The low score may be the result of the property being located in a non-approved PACE district or the PACE designation is simply unknown. That does not disqualify the project but getting PACE approved may be the first step required to initiate this project. Often it takes a project that is ready to go to get PACE approved in a county or municipality.

    34 to 94 - PACE may not be an option for this project for a variety of reasons. The lower score may indicate too few hours of operation, low energy use in the facility or being located in a non-PACE area. However, projects that score in this bracket may still qualify for utility incentive programs, rebates, grants, etc. that will reduce its cost. If the low score is due its location being a non-PACE district, please contact EAGM (see below). New districts are signing on each month and we can let you know if PACE approval is pending.

    33 and below - This level of scoring typically indicates a project is too small in scope as well as being located in a non-PACE county or municipality. Even if PACE were to be approved at a future time, it would most likely not qualify for a PACE loan and alternative financing, incentive and rebate options would need to be considered.
